- ½ lb ground beef
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ cup refried beans
- ¼ cup shredded lettuce
- ¼ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- ¼ cup diced tomatoes
- ¼ cup taco sauce
- Vegetable oil for frying
Prepare the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir occasionally until fully cooked (about 5–7 minutes). Remove from heat.
Assemble the Tacos: Spread a thin layer of refried beans on one half of each tortilla. Add a spoonful of cooked beef on top.
Fold & Fry: Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fold the tortilla in half and gently press down. Fry each taco for about 1–2 minutes per side or until crispy and golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Add Toppings: Open the tacos slightly and stuff with shredded lettuce, cheese, and diced tomatoes. Drizzle taco sauce inside.
Serve & Enjoy: Serve immediately while crispy.
